| All Mackay and Mackay Multi-Link have some designed guide on system to help you retrieve your boat. What you must understand is that the designs vary with the different types of trailers manufactured by Mackay Multi-Link Manuafacturing Pty Ltd. This is a results of the various types of boats that each trailer is custom built for.
Multi-roller trailers do not have any specific guides physically as there are no keel rollers so the boat will always try to go back to the centre were there are no rollers, on this type of trailer it is important that the wobble rollers are positioned close to the strakes of the boat which aids as a guide for the boat. Keel rollered trailers need some form of guide to steer the boat to the first roller and keep it there. The shape and design varies but they are all designed for this one purpose. The most important thing to remember on any roll on guide system is that it cannot work if your trailer is too deep in the water, thus preventing your guide on system to work effectively. |
